Easter Basked Acrylic 20"x24"
I was invited to be part of the traditional family Easter egg hunt. It was delightful to watch both Cannon and Avalon search the living area for hidden eggs. Then the excitement of opening them to find the goodies inside.
When the excitement settled down Cannon and I decided to use the basket of colored eggs as the inspiration for this weeks painting. We made an arrangement of the basket, grass and eggs at one end of the work table.
Cannon selected colors and indicated where they should be placed on the canvas, Then he selected the small paint roller and went to work. He use the paint roller exclusively getting his desired effect without additional brush work.
The result is this soft impression of pastel eggs nestled in Easter grass.
